Soft functional materials offer new opportunities for biomedical applications where mechanical performance, structural stability, and biological compatibility must be carefully balanced. Our research focuses on the rheological and structural design of polymer-based gels and composite materials for applications such as bone regeneration and wound healing. Particular attention is devoted to understanding how molecular interactions, network formation, and processing conditions determine material functionality, with the aim of developing soft systems that combine controlled mechanics, responsiveness, and biocompatibility.
